What Is TZM Alloy?

TZM (Titanium-Zirconium-Molybdenum) Alloy is a solid-solution-strengthened and particle-strengthened molybdenum alloy. By adding small amounts of Ti, Zr, and C, TZM achieves much higher strength and hardness than pure molybdenum—especially above 1,100°C—making it one of the most reliable refractory alloys for long-term high-temperature performance.
