Application of Tungsten and Molybdenum Products in the Photovoltaic Industry

In the production of monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon solar cells, tungsten and molybdenum materials are mainly used in the following areas:

1. Heating Elements and Reflective Shields
In crystal growth furnaces and annealing furnaces, tungsten and molybdenum materials are used to manufacture heaters, thermal field reflectors, and support components. Their high-temperature strength and low evaporation rates ensure stable and clean heating processes.

2. Support and Carrying Components
Molybdenum brackets, tungsten pins, and molybdenum boats are used for wafer handling and fixing during thermal treatment and coating processes, offering excellent resistance to deformation and contamination.

3. Vacuum Coating Electrodes and Targets
Molybdenum targets are widely used as back electrode materials in CIGS thin-film solar cells, providing good electrical conductivity and adhesion, thereby improving cell conversion efficiency.

4. Quartz Crucible Support Components
During the silicon ingot pulling process, molybdenum rings and plates are used as supports and connectors for quartz crucibles, effectively preventing contamination and extending equipment lifespan.
